Awards
Award certificates are available for activators and chasers. To claim an award, the contacts or activations necessary to qualify for the award must be logged in the WOTA database. You should then message the awards manager (Phil G4OBK) giving details of the award being claimed by using the Contact WOTA form available on the WOTA home page. A professionally printed certificate costs £5. This covers the cost of laser printing (200 GSM), packing and postage. Payment is accepted via PayPal or cheque when your claim is submitted. If you use PayPal ensure that you make a "Personal Payment" and check the GIFT box, otherwise an admin fee is charged. Extra certificates ordered at the same time cost £2 per certificate, inclusive. An Acrobat file of the certificate(s) will also be e-mailed to the recipient. Alternatively if you prefer to print your own certificate it can be e-mailed to you in Acrobat format free of charge. Each certificate will be dated with the date of the qualifying contact and numbered in order based on when the certificate is claimed.

Claiming an award
To claim a Wainwrights On The Air award, you must first ensure that your log in the database is up to date and contains all the contacts required to qualify for the award.
QSL cards are not required to claim WOTA awards. A "confirmed" contact is one that has been entered in the WOTA database by the claimant. Unconfirmed contacts may be accepted for WOTA awards as it is appreciated that not all participants in WOTA may enter their contacts into the database. Further proof of some contacts may be required if the contact is unconfirmed in the database.
Please allow up to 28 days for the processing of your award claim.
